Ocheyedan, Iowa

Ocheyedan is located just south of Highway 9 in eastern Osceola County. Ocheyedan is well known for "The Mound", long thought to be the highest point in Iowa.  There are about 550 residents in Ocheyedan.

There is a strong church community in Ocheyedan as well as many recreational opportunities. You'll find Ocheyedan to be a very friendly place!

Melvin is located in the southern part of Osceola County just off Highway 59.  The city of Melvin is within the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn School District. Melvin may be best known for its Moose Days festival held every summer.  There are about 250 residents in Melvin
